Welcome to Neuroaffirming Microschool KC!
At Neuroaffirming KC, our mission is to create an inclusive, student-led educational environment where autistic and neurodivergent children can thrive. We provide a safe space that caters to each child’s unique needs, ensuring they receive personalized support in both their academic and emotional growth. Our goal is to challenge ableist practices in traditional education, offering an alternative that honors every child’s neurotype and fosters a sense of belonging.

Why Neuroaffirming KC?
At Neuroaffirming KC, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. We know that autism and neurodivergence come with unique strengths and challenges, and we embrace these differences rather than forcing children into conventional molds. Through our therapeutic microschool, teaching approaches, and support, we offer an environment where children are given the tools to succeed at their own pace.
Our commitment extends beyond just providing education to children. We are dedicated to supporting parents, raising awareness about neurodiversity, and creating employment opportunities for autistic adults. Neuroaffirming KC is more than a school, it is a movement for change, where we foster understanding, inclusion, and empowerment in every aspect of life.
